Casi no llego a tiempo para postear este visto en previews antes de que comenzara septiembre. Y no es que el contenido sea realmente novedoso. Desde que DC anunció el relanzamiento de su universo, estos nuevos comics han sido comentados sin parar a pesar de la poca información que tenemos. Así que en esta ocasión quiero aportar mis comentarios infundados y compartir los títulos que no me quiero perder.
Y notarán un patrón común en mi selección: batman y wildstorm. Y comienzo con un Grifter! Me trae buenos recuerdos de los 90s, cuando comencé a leer paquines de nuevo. Y además es un chivazo, pues se supone casi no posee súper poderes.

No podía dejar fuera el título insignia del relanzamiento. (Ojo que esta es la portada recatada, donde la WW aún tiene pantalones.) Tengo años de no leer una buena historia de JLA y espero que esta rompa la mala racha. Además que incluye los miembros clásicos, sin importar que significa que aquamán también participará. Sólo me preocupan comentarios de que esta primera historia se ubica en el pasado reciente del nuevo universo (hace 5 años) y no es contemporánea a los demás títulos.

Por supuesto, batman es parte de la lista. En especial porque quiero apreciar el arte de greg capullo. Desde sus tiempos con spawn no he tenido la oportunidad de leer otro comics que haya dibujado. Su combinación de incluir muchos detalles y cierto grado de caricatura en los personajes secundarios siempre me gustó.

Nota: no me gusta el diseño de las capas.

Tal vez el cambio más criticado del NuDC, Bárbara Gordon regresa a ser bati-chica. Comprendo las quejas de muchos, pero no puedo evitar estar entusiasmado por leer finalmente historias de Bárbara como Batgirl y que no sean elseworlds o parte de un status temporal (gimmick) que la deja caminar. Además, lo escribe Gail Simone! Por cirto, esta imagen no es la portada. Sólo la proporcionaron para ilustrar la preventa.

Otro buen recuerdo de la época de oro de WildCATS. Me sorprende que hayan escogido utilizar a Voodoo, pues no sería mi primera idea de personaje para un nuevo título. Originalmente tenía poderes psíquicos limitados gracias a que era descendiente de aliens de raza kherubim y se dedicaba a cazar los enemigos daemonites. No creo que estos temas sean utilizados en las nuevas historias y sospecho que el personaje se parecerá muy poco al original. Dudas similares también aplican al nuevo origen de Grifter. Y la falta de detalles de su traje o background en la portada indica que quieren mantener cuanta información puedan como sorpresa.

Qué le pasó a Harley Quin?!? Sí, es ella en el centro de la portada. Se necesitan más razones para leer aunque sea el #1? Y si muchos pensamos así, creo que la historia que narra lo que le sucedió la dejarán para mucho después y nos tendrán esperando hasta el próximo año. Y no los culparía. Sería aburrido pasar todo el mes sólo leyendo historias de origen en cada paquín.

Me intriga la combinación de personajes. Jasón Todd como el antihéroe Red Hood es interesante, y me cae bien Arsenal. Pero la adición de Starfire no me lo esperaba. Tiene un nivel de poder que no compagina con los otros dos. Es como poner un datsun, un lada y un corvette en la misma cochera.
